Frequently Asked Questions

We know you may have some questions about us, so we've put together a list of our most frequently asked questions. If you don't see your question here, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Do I need my own van to work with Ecodrive Logistics?

No. Ecodrive Logistics provides everything you need for the job, including a branded van, insurance, and fuel. There is no cost to the driver. Vans are collected and stored securely at our station when they are not on the road.

This is a great benefit for drivers, as it eliminates the need to purchase and maintain their own van. It also means that drivers can focus on delivering packages and providing excellent customer service, without having to worry about the logistics of van ownership.

What uniform is provided to Associates?

We provide each delivery associate with a branded uniform pack which includes but not limited to tops, bottoms, jackets, hats, high visibility vest and PPE of course as standard.

The uniform is designed to be comfortable and practical for delivery work. It's also designed to be safe, with the high visibility vest helping drivers to be seen by other road users.

You must provide your own safety footwear for the work.

Do you provide any training?

The training that we provide to our delivery associates includes:

  • Classroom training on the company's policies and procedures, including safety procedures

  • Driving training in a van similar to the ones that the associates will be driving

  • Hands-on training in delivering packages & use of our delivery app

The training is mandatory for all new associates and it is paid at the slightly lower training rate. This shows that Ecodrive Logistics is committed to providing its drivers with the training they need to be successful in their role.

We are proud to provide our delivery associates with comprehensive training, it gives you the best possible start and helps to ensure that our associates are safe and efficient on the road.

I have never driven a van before, does this mean I can't apply?

Having van driving experience is not an essential requirement for a Delivery Associate position at Ecodrive Logistics. However, it is worth noting that our vans are long wheelbase vans that are very different to driving cars. In order to safely and efficiently deliver packages, it is important to have a good understanding of how to drive a van.

If you have never driven a van before, you will be required to complete the company's driver training program before being allowed on the road alone. The training program will cover all aspects of van driving, including:

  • Basic driving skills

  • Safety procedures

  • Loading and unloading procedures

  • Incident Reporting

  • Customer service

The training program is comprehensive and will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to be a safe and efficient van driver.

If you are interested in a Delivery Associate position at Ecodrive Logistics, we encourage you to apply, even if you have never driven a van before.

The company's driver training program is excellent and will give you the skills you need to be successful in this role.

Here are some additional tips for applying for a Delivery Associate position at Ecodrive Logistics if you have never driven a van before:

  • Be honest about your lack of experience in your application.

  • Highlight your other skills and qualifications that make you a good fit for the role, such as your customer service skills, your ability to work independently, and your willingness to learn new things.

  • Be prepared to answer questions about your driving experience, even if it is limited.

  • Be enthusiastic about the opportunity to learn how to drive a van, deliver packages and provide excellent customer service.
